Haaretz' unfortunate anti-Bibi cartoon that plays into some truther's hands...

Israeli left-leaning news site Haaretz posted a cartoon directed against Benjamin "Bibi" Nethanyahu on the 30th of Oct 2014 and his handling of US-Israeli relations.

The cartoon, which sees the cartoon "Bibi" drive an airplane into a cartoon skyscraper with a US flag on top, unfortunately plays into the roughly 50% among truthers that blame Israel or Jews for 9/11, or possibly "zionists".

There is no real evidence to prove Jewish nor Israeli (nor Zionist) involvement into 9/11. There are many claims of evidence, but they don't prove any actual guilt concerning the events themselves.

Instead, the ones who admitted to these acts of terrorism, said beforehand that they would attack USA, that foreign intelligences (and NSA) picked up would attack USA were anti-Israeli at least (one can read Osama and others in AQ attacking Israel over and over. Whether they were/are anti-semitic is not clear to me.

The cartoon itself can be seen here:

The link to the twitter of Haaretz with the cartoon can be found here .

The cartoonist who made the cartoon explains himself and what he meant here :

Haaretz cartoonist: I was mocking Netanyahu's handling of U.S.-Israeli relations

I saw a link from a "white nationalist" website that posted this cartoon only the day after and of course asking if "Israel admitted to 9/11"... So, I thought I'd try to post this to maybe help clear this out.

Ari Fleischer reveals details about Bush in the school on 9/11

Ari Fleischer shared important details on Twitter this latest 9/11 as CNN reported.

2 very important revelations came from these tweets:

At 08:46 am AA11 crash into the north tower and Ari writes that the motorcade is still a few minutes from arriving at the school. As you can see here. This is important because several truthers have claimed that Bush saw the first plane hit the first tower, which we see was impossible (unless Ari lies, which I assume he doesn't even if you can never know).

The second important revelation Ari gives has to do with Bush's reaction.  Ari gives several tweets about this. In one tweet he says he didn't think Bush should address the press yet as you can see here. As you can also see here Ari told the president to not say anything yet(while listening to the children read), but didn't show the press this. This is important because several have during these years made a big fuzz about Bush's reactions on 9/11 and even wanted him impeached over it! of course the president is always responsible for his actions, but here we can at least see that Ari gave him advice about this specifically.

There are other interesting tweets too from Ari on that CNN-link so I encourage readers to check it out in full. Another interesting tweet I can mention is the one about Bush before he went into the classroom. He told Condoleezza Rice to make resources available to help NYC as you can see here.

George Carlin on Alex Jones(sort of)

"...'cause I got to tell you the truth folks. I got to tell you the truth. When it comes to bullshit, big time, major league bullshit, you have to stand in awe, in awe, of the all-time champion of false promises and exagerated claims: [Alex Jones]! No contest!
[Alex Jones] easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it. [Alex Jones] has actually convinced people that there's an invisible [group]..."
...
"He loves you and he needs money! He always needs money! [Alex Jones] is all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing and all-wise. Somehow *knock*, just can't handle money!
[Alex Jones] takes in [millions] of dollars, pays [some] taxes and [he] always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshit story...holy shit!"

Made changes (in brackets) to George Carlin's rather famous stand up about religion, but swapped for Alex Jones and it fits really well!

Salon quotes Eric Covino ("president and founder of Creative Signals, a digital marketing, SEO and online P.R. agency") who guesstimates that Alex Jones earns $3-6 million per year "based on the traffic numbers and the brand loyalty,” as you can read here. As the Salon article says in the beginning: "...make no mistake, it is a business.". David Steinberg ("CEO of the New York-based digital ad agency XL Marketing") "...calculates...a significantly lower number than Covino’s, at between $1  million and $1.2 million per year.". These numbers are for AJ's websites.

On the radioshow, Bill Figenshu ("
40 years of experience in the talk radio business") thinks AJ makes "$215,000 personally."[per year].

Salon also discusses subscribers and how much that could bring in to AJ and writes this:
We can’t know how many paid subscribers Jones has, but even if just 2.5 percent of the 2 million-plus people who visit his site every month subscribe, that’s still pushing $4 million a year. If 1 percent are paying members, then we’re down to $1.5 million, but if 5 percent are, then we’re talking about nearly $8 million a year.

and, note that, as Alex Seit of Salon writes: "And none of this includes book sales, merch, speaking tours, promotional tie-ins, book and DVD royalties or any other revenue streams that might exist."

He ends with that quote and finally this:

So the next time you want to dismiss Jones as crazy, ask yourself how many people would pay $5.95 a month to watch you talk about Justin Bieber.

Truthers - how to respond to them?

This can be a tricky and sensitive matter, which can bring up a lot of emotions as we can see in the following clip of a firefighter getting face to face with a truther...

Firefighter arguing about 9/11 truth at ground zero.

We could do like Bill Maher and ridicule and laugh at truthers as he does here:

...or just stop a debate, just like Bill Maher does when he threw at disturbing truthers on his show years ago:

or, maybe we should let them ask questions and reply to them like NIST did when it came to WTC 7? Link here.

Maybe we should say how stupid we may think some of them are like Steve Shives does here?

I think it depends on what type of truther you are talking to. There are many truthers in many countries and they are not all the same. Some are young, some are old. Some are American, some live in the Middle East or Pakistan or in other countries.

Some of them (I guesstimate 50%) want to blame Israel, Jews or Zionists. I think most of them conflate other things with 9/11 though and am not interested in debating them personally very much.

Others believe in Judy Wood's theories about an energy of some sort was used... Interesting idea, but it loses traction before it even gets off the ground. Same with "no-planers" as I see it.

You have a fairly big group of truthers who seem to have their mind set and aren't open to debate and listen to the other side, exemplified here by Alex Jones' encounter with Mark Roberts:

but, I think a fairly reasonable group of truthers exist also that may have honest questions and a true desire to want to know what happened, find out the truth about 9/11. Those I am willing to debate.

and, I want to respect everyone, apart from maybe those that want to use 9/11 for some agenda, such as making money (Alex Jones for example) or attacking Israel or Jews.

What is paramount for all of us is to respect the victims and their loved ones.

Moussaoui's mocking of stewardess begging for her life on U93

Zackarias Moussaoui was arrested prior to 9/11 and could've cracked the whole case open, but unfortunately that was not the case.

He has stood trial and has received his verdict. The prosecution in his trial presented exhibits that we all can view here.

Among these exhibits, we can find the transcript of the United 93's cockpit voice recorder (one of the 2 black boxes found for U93) as "P200056T Transcript of Exhibit P200056" on the prosecution-link given above. It's a PDF of the transcript. Link to this exhibit directly here.

In this transcript you can among other things read someone (assume this is the flight stewardess) say no several times as well as other things.

Then you can go to exhibit P200080 and see a crazy letter written by Moussaoui himself where he among other things mocks this poor flight stewardess that begs for her life (he heard the actual recording played in the trial). You can also see his crazy BS about "truth" and even anti-semitism in the end. Once again, this is a PDF that will be downloaded when you click the link for (prosecution) exhibit P200080. The letter was written in 2003 after the events. One of the craziest letters I've seen. A link to P200080 directly here.

Silverstein took an interest in the WTC-site when again??!

It is well-known that Larry Silversteined leased the twin towers shortly before 9/11 2001. More specifically he signed the lease on July 24, 2001. He had already made a bid for the lease in January of 2001, but another company's bid was higher. So, they had it until they withdrew.

Further, this lease was not only about the Twin towers, but also about WTC 4 and 5.

What is less well-known perhaps, or at least not brought up often, is that he won a bid to construct WTC 7 back in 1980 already. A full 21 years prior to 9/11.

Because Silverstein had the lease he had to (was obliged to) rebuild when the buildings were destroyed.

To several, this may not be news at all, but much of this was actually news to me as I have not been so interested in this part of 9/11. and, since I thought it was not brought up when Silverstein is discussed normally I thought it was worth to make a post about.

My source may not be the best, but I think wiki most of the time does a decent job. If anyone has seen an error, feel free to tell me. Source-link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Silverstein
