New investigation? Number of pages spent on investigation.

So far, there have been several investigations into 9/11, both as a whole and in parts.

Joint Inquiry

"The Joint Inquiry into Intelligence Community Activities before and after the Terrorist Attacks of September 11, 2001" was released in December 2002. It comprised 832 pages according to Wikipedia.

9/11 commission

The 9/11 Commission Report consists of 541 pages if you include the notes. Link to the official (but frozen) commission site can be found here.

NIST's investigations

NIST published reports on both the twin towers, WTC1 and WTC2, but also a report on WTC7. A list of all their final reports on these 3 buildings can be found here.

NIST's report on the twin towers was released in September 2005.

Can see a list of all the NIST final reports here[same as above]. To see all NIST's publications about the WTC disaster, can go to this link. To see what the goals and objectives with NIST's investigation, go here.

FEMA

FEMA published their "World Trade Center Building Performance Study" in September 2002. It consists of 8 Chapter and 9 Appendices as can be seen here. It is 170 pages (251 pages if one includes appendices).

Conclusion

The investigations have comprised a grand total 8,448 pages! This "ought" to be enough...

Haaretz' unfortunate anti-Bibi cartoon that plays into some truther's hands...

Israeli left-leaning news site Haaretz posted a cartoon directed against Benjamin "Bibi" Nethanyahu on the 30th of Oct 2014 and his handling of US-Israeli relations.

The cartoon, which sees the cartoon "Bibi" drive an airplane into a cartoon skyscraper with a US flag on top, unfortunately plays into the roughly 50% among truthers that blame Israel or Jews for 9/11, or possibly "zionists".

There is no real evidence to prove Jewish nor Israeli (nor Zionist) involvement into 9/11. There are many claims of evidence, but they don't prove any actual guilt concerning the events themselves.

Instead, the ones who admitted to these acts of terrorism, said beforehand that they would attack USA, that foreign intelligences (and NSA) picked up would attack USA were anti-Israeli at least (one can read Osama and others in AQ attacking Israel over and over. Whether they were/are anti-semitic is not clear to me.

The cartoon itself can be seen here:

The link to the twitter of Haaretz with the cartoon can be found here .

The cartoonist who made the cartoon explains himself and what he meant here :

Haaretz cartoonist: I was mocking Netanyahu's handling of U.S.-Israeli relations

I saw a link from a "white nationalist" website that posted this cartoon only the day after and of course asking if "Israel admitted to 9/11"... So, I thought I'd try to post this to maybe help clear this out.

Ari Fleischer reveals details about Bush in the school on 9/11

Ari Fleischer shared important details on Twitter this latest 9/11 as CNN reported.

2 very important revelations came from these tweets:

At 08:46 am AA11 crash into the north tower and Ari writes that the motorcade is still a few minutes from arriving at the school. As you can see here. This is important because several truthers have claimed that Bush saw the first plane hit the first tower, which we see was impossible (unless Ari lies, which I assume he doesn't even if you can never know).

The second important revelation Ari gives has to do with Bush's reaction.  Ari gives several tweets about this. In one tweet he says he didn't think Bush should address the press yet as you can see here. As you can also see here Ari told the president to not say anything yet(while listening to the children read), but didn't show the press this. This is important because several have during these years made a big fuzz about Bush's reactions on 9/11 and even wanted him impeached over it! of course the president is always responsible for his actions, but here we can at least see that Ari gave him advice about this specifically.

There are other interesting tweets too from Ari on that CNN-link so I encourage readers to check it out in full. Another interesting tweet I can mention is the one about Bush before he went into the classroom. He told Condoleezza Rice to make resources available to help NYC as you can see here.

George Carlin on Alex Jones(sort of)

"...'cause I got to tell you the truth folks. I got to tell you the truth. When it comes to bullshit, big time, major league bullshit, you have to stand in awe, in awe, of the all-time champion of false promises and exagerated claims: [Alex Jones]! No contest!
[Alex Jones] easily has the greatest bullshit story ever told. Think about it. [Alex Jones] has actually convinced people that there's an invisible [group]..."
...
"He loves you and he needs money! He always needs money! [Alex Jones] is all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing and all-wise. Somehow *knock*, just can't handle money!
[Alex Jones] takes in [millions] of dollars, pays [some] taxes and [he] always need a little more. Now, you talk about a good bullshit story...holy shit!"

Made changes (in brackets) to George Carlin's rather famous stand up about religion, but swapped for Alex Jones and it fits really well!

Salon quotes Eric Covino ("president and founder of Creative Signals, a digital marketing, SEO and online P.R. agency") who guesstimates that Alex Jones earns $3-6 million per year "based on the traffic numbers and the brand loyalty,” as you can read here. As the Salon article says in the beginning: "...make no mistake, it is a business.". David Steinberg ("CEO of the New York-based digital ad agency XL Marketing") "...calculates...a significantly lower number than Covino’s, at between $1  million and $1.2 million per year.". These numbers are for AJ's websites.

On the radioshow, Bill Figenshu ("
40 years of experience in the talk radio business") thinks AJ makes "$215,000 personally."[per year].

Salon also discusses subscribers and how much that could bring in to AJ and writes this:
We can’t know how many paid subscribers Jones has, but even if just 2.5 percent of the 2 million-plus people who visit his site every month subscribe, that’s still pushing $4 million a year. If 1 percent are paying members, then we’re down to $1.5 million, but if 5 percent are, then we’re talking about nearly $8 million a year.

and, note that, as Alex Seit of Salon writes: "And none of this includes book sales, merch, speaking tours, promotional tie-ins, book and DVD royalties or any other revenue streams that might exist."

He ends with that quote and finally this:

So the next time you want to dismiss Jones as crazy, ask yourself how many people would pay $5.95 a month to watch you talk about Justin Bieber.

Truthers - how to respond to them?

This can be a tricky and sensitive matter, which can bring up a lot of emotions as we can see in the following clip of a firefighter getting face to face with a truther...

Firefighter arguing about 9/11 truth at ground zero.

We could do like Bill Maher and ridicule and laugh at truthers as he does here:

...or just stop a debate, just like Bill Maher does when he threw at disturbing truthers on his show years ago:

or, maybe we should let them ask questions and reply to them like NIST did when it came to WTC 7? Link here.

Maybe we should say how stupid we may think some of them are like Steve Shives does here?

I think it depends on what type of truther you are talking to. There are many truthers in many countries and they are not all the same. Some are young, some are old. Some are American, some live in the Middle East or Pakistan or in other countries.

Some of them (I guesstimate 50%) want to blame Israel, Jews or Zionists. I think most of them conflate other things with 9/11 though and am not interested in debating them personally very much.

Others believe in Judy Wood's theories about an energy of some sort was used... Interesting idea, but it loses traction before it even gets off the ground. Same with "no-planers" as I see it.

You have a fairly big group of truthers who seem to have their mind set and aren't open to debate and listen to the other side, exemplified here by Alex Jones' encounter with Mark Roberts:

but, I think a fairly reasonable group of truthers exist also that may have honest questions and a true desire to want to know what happened, find out the truth about 9/11. Those I am willing to debate.

and, I want to respect everyone, apart from maybe those that want to use 9/11 for some agenda, such as making money (Alex Jones for example) or attacking Israel or Jews.

What is paramount for all of us is to respect the victims and their loved ones.

Moussaoui's mocking of stewardess begging for her life on U93

Zackarias Moussaoui was arrested prior to 9/11 and could've cracked the whole case open, but unfortunately that was not the case.

He has stood trial and has received his verdict. The prosecution in his trial presented exhibits that we all can view here.

Among these exhibits, we can find the transcript of the United 93's cockpit voice recorder (one of the 2 black boxes found for U93) as "P200056T Transcript of Exhibit P200056" on the prosecution-link given above. It's a PDF of the transcript. Link to this exhibit directly here.

In this transcript you can among other things read someone (assume this is the flight stewardess) say no several times as well as other things.

Then you can go to exhibit P200080 and see a crazy letter written by Moussaoui himself where he among other things mocks this poor flight stewardess that begs for her life (he heard the actual recording played in the trial). You can also see his crazy BS about "truth" and even anti-semitism in the end. Once again, this is a PDF that will be downloaded when you click the link for (prosecution) exhibit P200080. The letter was written in 2003 after the events. One of the craziest letters I've seen. A link to P200080 directly here.

Silverstein took an interest in the WTC-site when again??!

It is well-known that Larry Silversteined leased the twin towers shortly before 9/11 2001. More specifically he signed the lease on July 24, 2001. He had already made a bid for the lease in January of 2001, but another company's bid was higher. So, they had it until they withdrew.

Further, this lease was not only about the Twin towers, but also about WTC 4 and 5.

What is less well-known perhaps, or at least not brought up often, is that he won a bid to construct WTC 7 back in 1980 already. A full 21 years prior to 9/11.

Because Silverstein had the lease he had to (was obliged to) rebuild when the buildings were destroyed.

To several, this may not be news at all, but much of this was actually news to me as I have not been so interested in this part of 9/11. and, since I thought it was not brought up when Silverstein is discussed normally I thought it was worth to make a post about.

My source may not be the best, but I think wiki most of the time does a decent job. If anyone has seen an error, feel free to tell me. Source-link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Silverstein

Googling different 9/11 conspiracy related terms(number of results)...

If you google "9/11 conspiracy", you'll see that there are about 10,500,000 results.

Google "9/11 truth" and you'll get 24,500,000 results!

"9/11 facts" will actually generate the most: 60,000,000 results! I assume this include both real facts and "facts" from the "9/11 truth" movement...

On the other hand, if you google "9/11 debunk", you'll only get 289,000 results... Quite a discrepancy...

Conspiracy theories appear to dominate the internet, at least if the assumption about "9/11 facts" above is correct, that most of those results are not actual facts, even if that is certainly a possibility...

This is quite a problem as it skews people's perception of reality.

Testament-videos by hijackers.

Previously shown testament videos no longer available in 2017

Several hijackers made videos of themselves in Arabic.

Saeed al-Ghamdi (was on U93):
[removed video]

Ahmed al-Ghamdi (UA175):
[removed video]

Abdulaziz al-Omari (AA11):
[removed video]

Ahmed al-Haznawi (U93):
[removed video]

Hamzi al-Ghamdi (UA175):
[removed video]

Mohand al-Shehri (UA175):
[removed video]

Wail al-Shehri (AA11):
[removed video]

Waleed al-Shehri (AA11):
[removed video]

Ziad Jarrah (U93):
[removed video]

So, that's in total 9 of the 19 hijackers! I used the slightly different names (differed on single letters) that the flash program from the Moussaoui trial uses. Actually there's 3 from AA11, UA175 and from U93 and none from AA77.

This further strengthens the case against AQ.

[edit]
These videos were posted on a YouTube-account that is no longer active so we can't see them directly as short clips at least where I found them earlier. Was unsuccessful in finding the short clips again, so instead I will post news links about them and remove the videos I had posted above previously here.

New part of this post - news links and conclusion + Al Jazeera documentary

Not going to link to newlinks about the aforementioned videos above. I will link to 4 news links though over a couple of years.

First one is from 2002, from CNN: here . It says about a website called alneda.com:

In addition, the site contained the video of September 11 hijacker Ahmed al-Haznawi's last will and testament, as CNN reported, said the other 18 hijackers also had recorded last wills and testaments on video.

al-Haznawi is one of those previously in a video above.

2006-link

In 2006, a video where Mohammed Atta and Ziad Jarrah was seen laughing, although one of them appeared to be holding a testament or will(think someone read in a still from the video). This video is fairly easy to find, but I post a newslink from Irish Examiner about it instead here .

Quote from the newslink:

The Sunday Times said the video, which was dated January 18, 2000 — about a year and a half before the attacks against the United States — was made in Afghanistan for release after the men’s deaths.
For more than 30 minutes the video shows Atta, who flew one of the planes that crashed into the World Trade Centre, and Ziad Jarrah, who piloted United Airlines flight 93 that crashed into a Pennsylvania field, together.
The newspaper said the hour-long video — the authenticity of which, it said, was confirmed “by sources from both al-Qaida and the US” — was made at an al-Qaida training camp in Afghanistan. It includes images of Osama bin Laden speaking to supporters in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

More from the same link:

Ben Venzke, head of the Virginia-based IntelCenter which monitors terrorism communications, said the video was probably raw footage which al-Qaida had intended to edit into a package.
This would be done similarly to one released last month showing the last testament of two of the 9/11 hijackers, Wail al-Shehri and Hamza al-Ghamdi.
Bin Laden said a few years ago that he was saving Atta’s last testament for a special occasion, Mr Venzke said.
“It is highly unlikely that al-Qaida wanted the material to be released in this manner and it is not consistent with any previous release by them,” he said.

From 2007

From 2007, there are several newslinks reporting about the testament videos from that year. I chose the 2 best of those I found. First is Fox News here . Their headline is: "New Usama bin Laden video shows 9/11 hijacker's last testament". Quote from the link:

Al Qaeda traditionally issues a video every year on the anniversary, with the last testament of one of the 19 hijackers involved in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. This year's video showed hijacker Waleed al-Shehri addressing the camera and warning the U.S.: "We shall come at you from your front and back, your right and left."
More:

It begins with an audiotape introduction by bin Laden. While his voice is heard, the video shows a still image of him, raising his finger. In the image, bin Laden has the same dyed-black beard and the same clothes -- a white robe and cap and beige cloak -- that he had in Saturday's video.
 Also this:

After bin Laden speaks, the video of al-Shehri appears. Al-Shehri -- one of the hijackers on American Airlines Flight 11, which hit the World Trade Center -- is seen wearing a white robe and headscarf, with a full black beard, speaking in front of a backdrop with images of the burning World Trade Center.
and finally:

Bin Laden's video on Saturday was his first message in over a year -- since a July 1, 2006 audiotape. The images came under close scrutiny from U.S. intelligence agencies, looking for clues to the 50-year-old's health and whereabouts.

The 2nd link from 2007 is even better and from CBS news and its link is here .

Quote:

The video included the last will and testaments of two of the hijackers, Wail al-Shehri and Hamza al-Ghamdi.
CBS News correspondent Jim Stewart reports that the CIA is examining this tape frame by frame, and agency officials aren't certain as of yet if any of it is new.
The footage was the fourth in a series of long videos that al Qaeda has put out to memorialize the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks against the Pentagon and World Trade Center, said Ben Venzke, head of IntelCenter, a private U.S. company that monitors militant message traffic and provides counterterrorism intelligence services for the American government.
The previous ones were issued in April and September 2002 and September 2003, each showing footage from the planning of the suicide hijackings and testimonies from some of the hijackers, Venzke told The Associated Press.
In the latest video, bin Laden is shown sitting outside in what appears to be a mountain camp with his former lieutenant Mohammed Atef and Ramzi Binalshibh, another suspected planner of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Conclusion and Al Jazeera-link

All in all, that's links about 5 of the 9 hijackers mentioned above and should suffice to make it clear they exist. Al Jazeera may have them now, but uncertain. It also mentions there's video of Binalshibh who did not succeed in becoming a hijacker since he could not get a visa. Instead he wired money and assisted in other ways. He also talked a lot after the attacks. Including to Al Jazeera prior to his arrest. He and KSM met with Yousri Fouda from Al Jazeera and said they had done the "planes operation" prior to them being arrested. This at a time when Al Jazeera almost seemed to work hand-in-hand with terrorists and were not as seemingly "west-friendly" as today.

The title is in Arabic so I am a bit unsure[says "The road to 9/11, part II"], but I think this is about Yousri Fouda's meeting with KSM and Binalshibh prior to their arrest where they say they did it(Binalshibh can be heard at times and some parts of the hijackers' testament videos are seen at times). English subs. 1 hour, 7 minutes. I could be mistaken that this is the video where Yousri speaks to KSM and Binalshibh.

16 years after 9/11 tomorrow... RIP to victims and thoughts to their loved ones and others affected.

Where I would start looking for the guilty of 9/11

Where I would begin to look for the guilty of 9/11

Where would I begin searching for clues of the responsible for 9/11 had I been in charge? Not that I have any experience of that so I don't claim to have any expertise in this... Even so, I will give my 2 cents' worth of where I would look.

2 "places" I would begin searching in. First place.

I would begin in 2 "places" you could say. I would first try to see if there had been any prior threats or attempts to attack any of these sites before in a major way. The twin towers had been attacked in 1993, or one of them by using a major truckbomb that blew a several stories deep hole in one of the towers. Had the truck been parked close to the "right" column, it would have brought the tower down according to some video I saw once, but can't recall which one it was now.

CNN has a link with fast facts about the 1993 bombing in which they among other things write this:

"Ramzi Yousef directed the organization and execution of the bombing. He said he did it to avenge the sufferings Palestinian people had endured at the hands of U.S.-aided Israel."
Ramzi Yousef happens to be the nephew of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the suspected (and admitted - before arrest too) mastermind of 9/11. We (those of us who have read the alleged motivation behind 9/11) can also notice that Ramzi's supposed motivation for attacking the WTC is similar to KSM's and Osama's 8 years later in 2001.

When Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was arrested, you could see this connection. It "fits". and, K.S.M. is of course AQ and admitted his guilt to an Al Jazeera-reporter together with Ramzi Bin al-Shibh in Pakistan prior to arrest and waterboarding. They even said to the reporter that he would make a great suicide bomber! The assumption is that that's a great compliment in their views... They called it "the planes operation". The reporter almost thought they may have exaggerated a bit, but it's unclear exactly what they said was true and what was not. Bin al-Shibh wanted to go to USA and be part of the 9/11 attacks, but was refused a visa so he couldn't. Instead he helped sending money via wire transfers to hijackers, discussing targets with Atta and Osama and other things.

Second place I would look

Going back to where I would look for those responsible... The 2nd "place" I would go to would be the crime scenes. Which are the crime scenes here on 9/11? One can think in at least 2 different ways. They could be the air planes as it was there that the hijackings took place and it could be at the crash sites where the planes were used as weapons. I think both are correct, but I will focus on the planes.

On most planes, apart from AA77, there were several calls made, most by seat back phones that the planes had back then (has since been removed). There were also some cell phone calls, which were generally short, over rural areas and when the planes flew low, which experts as far as I've seen have said was possible. I have not heard objections (as in claiming they are fake) to the seat back phone calls.

The descriptions of the hijackers is consistent with our idea of people from AQ and some of their actions (the wielding of knives and flying the planes) is consistent with other evidence such as the 5-page note "The last night" found in Atta's luggage, them going to flight schools, practicing in flight simulators etc.. No crew or passenger as far as I know described other types of people or other types of takeover of the planes, such as gas or pressure for example. So, the eye witnesses on this(these) crime scene(s) have given testimony consistent with AQ.

I will here put out a bit of a disclaimer. I am no legal expert either, but in my view, both the calls and the admissions of KSM and Bin al-Shibh are circumstantial evidences as the admissions could be lies and there is a theoretical chance that calls were fake or not true, even if I don't doubt the calls at all or think the admissions on the whole are fake (some of what they said may have been false though). Even so, if we assume I am correct that these are circumstantial pieces of evidences they all point towards AQ as perpetrators.

The document "the last night", receipts of maps for airplanes, mace and other things they bought and audio both of people on the planes, including the hijackers, are real exhibits, and are in fact online at the prosecutor's part of the Moussaoui-trial's website.

The crash sites were either seen by witnesses, pictured, videotaped, shown live or proven by physical evidence such as plane parts (black boxes for example) showing that planes were indeed used (for those doubting that). In 2 of the sites (NYC and Pennsylvania) some parts of identification of some of the hijackers were found, again linking to AQ (given that we knew these were AQ). Also, flight manifests helps here to connect it to AQ.

Hence, I would not go by "who benefits" to find the perpetrator(s). Alex Jones benefitted for example. Doubt that he did 9/11 though. Even if he "predicted" it prior...

Why this blog was created (continued)

Many people believe in conspiracy theories concerning 9/11. That's one reason to try to create a counterweight to that. but there is also another reason... A lot of the information in conspiracy videos and on conspiracy sites is not entirely correct. This blog intends to spread facts about 9/11.

One example of erronous information on conspiracy sites and in conspiracy videos that keep coming up is that some hijackers supposedly were "alive" after the attacks of 9/11. This was not the case. BBC, which is often linked to about this, themselves have linked to another link explaining that they did a mistake in claiming that hijackers were "alive" and even Saudi-Arabia have come out confirming that the 15 from their country indeed died on 9/11 and were guilty. See BBC's update from 2006 if you can find it. It is not there any more, but maybe you can find it. This old link to USA Today still works: http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/world/2002/02/06/saudi.htm" Saudi-Arabia confirming 15 of their citizens were hijackers and died on 9/11
Another erronous piece of information is that supposedly explosives were found in a van near the George Washington bridge. That was reported first, but was later denied.1 minute clip denying explosives found in the van:

[here I had a video that has since been removed unfortunately] ...and there are many more examples...

9/11, 2014. 13 years later. Why this blog was created.

9/11 2001 was a terrible day that shook the world. I live in Sweden, but even here it felt like anything could happen next. In my country it was in the afternoon that the attacks took place, some time before 3pm local time. I can't remember if I saw the 2nd plane hit live or not, but I remember watching the news live before the towers began to crumble. Quickly Osama bin Laden was suspected of our own terrorist experts even if they too urged caution about assigning blame before knowing more. On 9/11 or right after, I heard American's understandable anger at the attackers and I could almost "sense" the sympathy from much of the world towards USA for these terrible acts. USA had sure had people criticizing them for their foreign and even internal policies before this, and I too had had some criticism, but on and after 9/11, at least I did not feel so critical for a fairly long time (until 2003 or so).

After 9/11, I somehow vaguely "heard" or saw somehow that there were some conspiracy theories about this day, but I thought it was so ridiculous that I didn't even want to hear any of them. I also quickly felt fed up with 9/11 very quickly, but I also had some personal problems to deal with some months after so maybe that played a role too in me not watching much about it right after.

It wasn't until 2005-06 that I began looking at 9/11 and the conspiracy theories mostly, but then I started looking at pretty much all aspects of 9/11. I think it had begun with Alex Jones' "Terrorstorm" maybe that an American told me about and then I looked at other conspiracy videos and websites. There was a LOT of conspiracy websites and videos at that time. It was sort of overwhelming. I was also a bit "shocked" that many of the conspiracy theories seemed more possible than I had thought. I even asked a physics teacher where I studied at the time about this in general, but all he told me was to be careful with the sources. I began thinking that there may be something to these theories and I sort of became "obsessed" with 9/11, finding both the theories interesting and the events so big and shocking, which also contributed to my interest. but after being on the verge of believing in a conspiracy for some time, perhaps less than a year, I noticed that the conspiracy theories hinged on suspicions and believing in the interpretations of the makers of videos or authors of websites and books and not much that was concrete evidence. Meanwhile, the "official story" was supported by evidence. I tried to go by what they talk about in American court rooms I had seen on TV or movies, namely what can be proven "beyond a reasonable doubt". A doubt can still exist, but one can say that it is unreasonable (if it is of course). For example, if I use the words of a police officer or a forensic expert in other cases normally without doubting them, I should also do so in this case. If they say that they identified almost all victims of AA77 that crashed into the Pentagon, I think that I should believe them. Since I realized this, I became very much against the conspiracy theories because they assigned blame without supporting evidence. They also often attacked the victim (USA) or the eternal scapegoat: Jews (or Israel or zionists). Several who did this were also Muslims making it even more upsetting given that those that had perpetrated the attacks had tried to claim they were Muslims. This is not to say that all Muslims are bad or terrorists. Obviously these were extremists that called themselves Muslims.

This blog was created because I know how much conspiracy-related material is out there roughly and I understand how easy it is to believe there may be something to it all when one doesn't have the time or interest to look into it more deeply (I have had time & interest myself to do so). The intention is to spread real facts, information, go against conspiracy theories and some of the conspiracy theorist "leaders" like Alex Jones and others.

May this and future 9/11's be peaceful and may we all care about citizens no matter where they are from and no matter what their religions are, as long as they they don't act bad!

May the victims of 9/11 Rest In Peace of forever haunt their attackers! and may all conspiracy theorists stay true to facts and truths and not pride or agendas when it comes to 9/11.
